THE PROCESS:

#1 Drill a hole in the boulder or ledge approximately 75% the way through the material.

#2 Fill the hole with water

#3 Insert the proper sized propellent charge into the water filled drilled hole

#4 Set the Initiating Unit into the hole

#5 Set off the propellent charge.

The Method

The Non-High Explosive Propellent  charge will send an “Impulse” into the Incompressible water an extremely high pressure forcing the water into the micro fissures of the material acting as a wedge force opening up the fissures rapidly. The Process is instant.
